Our Provisional Mission Statement
Welcome to the website of the Broward
Women's Republican Club, Federated. We are the oldest Republican
Club in Broward County and one of the oldest in Florida, since
we were chartered in 1948. Our Chapter is a Charter member of
the Florida Federation of Republican Women, which is affiliated
with the National Federation of Republican Women.
We believe in the solid Republican virtues of smaller
government, fewer taxes and less government intrusion into the
life of the individual. One of our past Presidents was
instrumental in the struggle to ratify the Equal Rights
Amendment in the seventies. In fact, one of our past Presidents

once again taken up the matter, she is at it again!
We usually meet for lunch the first Wednesday of each month.
Additionally, we have activities such as fundraisers, candidate
nights, business card exchanges and other activities one might
expect from a political club.
... a woman's place is in the House ... and the Senate ... and
soon the White House!
